JULIA ROSENTHAL, CUDPT 2017, WINS NYPTA STUDENT PARTICIPATION AWARD

We are pleased to announce that Julia Rosenthal (CUDPT 2017) has garnered the New York Physical Therapy Association’s (NYPTA) Student Participation Award.  She received the award at a ceremony held in Albany, New York on May 20th.

Students who receive the award must meet a number of criteria, including: Participation in NYPTA and other activities, showing leadership qualities, and academic accomplishments.  For more information about the awards and NYPTA activities, visit http://www.nypta.org/. 

Julia commented, "It is essential to the PT profession that each of us is active in our state and national associations. I plan to remain active in the APTA and NYPTA after graduation to continue to advocate for changes that positively affect the PT proession"
