COLUMBPA PT STUDENTS AND FACULTY PARTICIPATE IN INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION EVENT

On December 12th, students from the Columbia schools of medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and physical therapy attended a faculty presentation of a complex geriatric case. Presenting faculty were Jeffrey Kwong, DNP, MPH, ANP-BC, FAANP, Director, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program; PT faculty member Laurel Daniels Abbruzzese, PT, EdD, CEENA, FNAP; OT faculty member MS, OTR; Joe Tennenbaum, MD, Columbia University Division of Geriatric Medicine and Aging, The Allen Pavilion.  Interprofessional Education (Columbia Commons IPE) is an opportunity to participate in collaborative discussions about collaborative care.
