COLUMBIA DPT PROGRAM PROMOTES #CHOOSE PT ON THE TODAY SHOW

On Monday, September 18th, PT and PTA students from schools in the New York region appeared on The Today Show to promote the APTA's Choose PT campaign, which addresses the current opioid epidemic and suggests physical therapy as a healthier solution for pain reduction.

Two 3rd year students, Jenna Kantor (NYPTA Legislative and Payment Committee Student Liaison) and Saiah Mays (PT Can), participated in the event. DPT faculty member, Dr. Laurel Daniels Abbruzzese, and program alumna Thea Hall (DPT 2010), also attended.
