Emily Keshner PT, EdD was quoted in a recent NBC news article: https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/science/3-ways-virtual-reality-transforming-medical-care-ncna794871 Dr. Keshner received the Outstanding Service Award from the International Conference for Virtual Rehabilitation for exceptional leadership, research, innovation and dedication to service in June 2017. She is a professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Director, Virtual Environment and Postural Organization Lab at Temple University.

Soren (Long) Grieve, PT, MS, TPS completed a certification as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) in May of 2016 through the International Spine and Pain Institute, partnered with Evidence in Motion. The certification involves 6 months of online and weekend coursework, learning the neurophysiology of pain and how to teach patients about pain. Soren works full time as a PT at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Sioux City, Iowa. If anyone wants to know more about the TPS certification, contact her at email@example.com.

Shawna Crescenzo, MSPT writes: “I live in Encinitas, CA and have my own private practice, Core Restore, which is a Pilates based ortho practice. I also travel with Nitro Circus as a medical manager and PT for BMX, skateboarders, and FMX riders. It's quite an adventure! These athletes are so talented and as you can imagine need a good medical team taking care of them!”

Noel Lozares, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, COMT, is the owner of Brooklyn Physiotherapy in New York City. In addition, he is the physio for the US Paralympic Snowboarding Team. They participated in a Continental Cup and a World Cup race in September in New Zealand. The World Cup event is a points qualifier for the Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang, South Korea this coming March.

Veronica Glen, DPT writes that she and current DPT student Jenna Kantor (Class of 2018) "had a blast working together" this summer. Veronica was a clinical instructor for Jenna at Kara Dodds and Associates, an outpatient pedicatric clinic in San Diego, CA. While Jenna learned more about treating the pediatric population, Veronica learned "what it's like to be on the teaching side of clinicals."

Ariel Reiter, DPT: Ariel is working as a PT at Lenox Hill Hospital and Weill Cornell in New York City in their respective medical, surgical and orthopedics units. He will be getting married shortly to Austin. (see photo).
